, the UK’s largest Filipino mothers’ group, and , a weekly talk show focusing on topics relevant for mums, are holding their “Christmas Catch Up” on Friday, 23 December, from 10 am until 12 noon.

FMUK has some 4,400 members across the UK and offers support and advice to Filipino mums on pregnancy, parenting, finance, relationships, career and many other topics.

Talking ng Ina Mo is an online talk show presented by Mel Dizon held every Friday when mums get to talk about the challenges and joys of being an immigrant mum in the UK.

The organisers have prepared several competitions for the members:

The event will be capped by a special message from FMUK founder Catherine Mosquera-Wigley.

New Year’s Day get together

The following Friday, 30 December, mums and their kids will be treated to another round of competitions and prizes.

1) Life in the UK Quiz Bee sponsored by Brenda Pearson – 拢20 store card voucher

2) Kiddies’ Christmas craft competition to be judged by Karla Magpantay-Ramos and sponsored by Cherry L. Igarta-Allison

3) Groceries Raffle para sa mga Nag-Iisang Inay. This is open to all single moms without a boyfriend or a partner. There will be three (3) winners of groceries worth 拢30 from Beberly’s World Foods – Scotland.
